Former Troy Police Chief retires after 42 years in law enforcement

Former Troy Chief of Police Robert A. Rizzi Jr. has announced his retirement after 42 years of public service in law enforcement. Rizzi, middle, shown here being honored by Madison County Sheriff Jeff Connor and his chief deputy, Marcos Pulido, right, had been serving for the last 11 years in the special operations division of the sheriff’s office after leaving his position in Troy.
