Alhambra Primary’s 15th Annual Mini Marathon lasts until Feb. 27

Being CARING shows GOOD CHARACTER!!

This month’s VIP word is caring. Alhambra Primary students will be taking part in a service project. We will be collecting items for the Highland Area Christian Service Ministry (HACSM). They have a food pantry that services all the communities in our school district.

From Feb/ 17-27, faculty and staff are encouraging students to show they are caring by donating an item(s) to the food pantry. Below is a list of suggested items that HACSM currently needs, however any items are accepted! Items are due by Feb. 27. Our school goal is 300 items!! At the end of the collection we will count the items and see if we beat our goal!

HACSM will gratefully accept any donations but when we spoke to them, they specifically asked for the items below.

Cereal Bars

Granola Bars

Pudding Cups

Fruit Cups

Rice Krispy Treats

Jello Cups

Individual sized wrapped chips, crackers, or other snacks/treats
