Holy Week Observance

On Tuesday, March 31, as part of their observance of Holy Week, a group of students from Father McGivney Catholic High School in Glen Carbon travelled to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield where Diocese Bishop The Most Reverend Thomas John Paprocki celebrated with various priests, deacons and seminarians and consecrated the Chrism, blessing the holy oils of the sick and catechumens used for various sacramental rituals which are then distributed to all parishes in the diocese.
