Collinsville Parks and Rec department granted new customer payment processing software
By Ray Popkess • The Collinsville Parks and Recreation Department presented the city council with a new ordinance last week to adopt a new registration and payment processing software with Amilia Technologies.
Department staff evaluated multiple registration software and payment processing platforms to identify the solution that best meets the department’s operational needs.
Representatives from the finance and IT departments participated in the evaluation process due to the financial, technical and customer service implications associated with the software.
Following the review process, staff determined that Amilia Technologies offers the most advantageous solution for the city. The platform provides all of the registration, reservation and payment processing capabilities currently utilized by the department while introducing additional automation and workflow improvements that are expected to reduce staff time spent on administrative tasks. The system also provides a more user-friendly experience for residents registering for programs and reserving facilities.
The proposed agreement includes a three-year subscription term beginning July 1, and expiring June 29, 2029. Annual software subscription costs are $9,000 in year one, $10,000 in year two, and $11,000 in year three, for a total subscription cost of $30,000 over the initial term. The agreement also includes a one-time onboarding and implementation fee of $3,500. Payment processing fees will apply based on actual transaction volume and payment methods utilized by customers.
