Suzanne (née Bufford) Joyner, 84 of Olympia, Washington, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. She was born on Aug. 19, 1941, in Tamms, Illinois.  

Suzanne is survived by her five children, daughter Rhonda Mills Tracy of Puyallup, Washington; son William Anthony (Tony) Mills, Jr. of Florida; Robert (Bob) Harold Mills and wife Cheryl of Olympia, Washington; Michelle Driggers West of Puyallup, Washington; Suzanne Ruth Oney of Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; nieces Robin Rushing and Mandy Bufford and nephews Shawn Hummel and Robert Bufford.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband Douglas (Doug) Joyner, parents Harold Adis and Marilyn Ruth (née Watkins) Bufford; sister Doris Hummel and Jim Bufford.

Suzanne was a member of the McCray Dewey High School, Class of 1959.

Suzanne’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. No memorial is planned at this time.
