Kayaking returns to Maryville’s Drost Park June 27

By Tribune Staff • June 27 is the 14th Annual Kayaking Day at Drost Park. Maryville Parks and Rec will host free kayaking in at Pavilion #1 located at #8 Schiber Court.

The committee and with help from the Alpine Shop, Army Corp of Engineers and various kayaking clubs, will offer five free sessions every hour, starting at noon.

Kayaks and life jackets  will be provided including free refreshments after each session provided by Allison Bash, the State Farm Agency in Maryville.

To balance attendance for the day, contact Maryville Park and Rec at 618-223-8965 and leave a message and your call will be returned to secure a convenient time slot. Walk-ins will only be able to participate if there are available kayaks.
