Main Street storm sewer project in Glen Carbon to start July 6

According to the Village of Glen Carbon’s website: “Construction of the Main Street Storm Sewer Project is about to begin. The contractor will be onsite beginning next week, setting up signage, staging equipment and materials and potentially performing some concrete cutting in preparation for road closures, which will begin after the 4th of July weekend.

“Expect road closures to begin Monday, July 6, starting with closure of Main Street from the covered bridge to Collinsville Street. This phase of the work is expected to occur throughout the month of July.”
