St. Jacob native to coach at Father McGivney Catholic High School

By Randy Pierce • St. Jacob native Keith Bridges has been hired to serve as head softball coach at Father McGivney Catholic High School in Glen Carbon. 

A graduate of Triad High School in Troy, Bridges spent the past year as assistant Griffins’ softball coach at FMCHS, making a positive impact that led to his taking on the leadership role.

His involvement in sports has included four years of playing baseball at McKendree University in Lebanon, along with coaching the softball team at St. Boniface Catholic School in Edwardsville for five years. He additionally has coached select softball teams for several years.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from McKendree, Bridges and his wife Kim, who have three daughters, Audrey, Caroline and Isabella, reside in Edwardsville and are members of St. Boniface Parish. 

In his free time, Bridges enjoys fishing and playing golf.
