Kentucky driver takes feature win at Brownstown 100; Eilers wins BMods

It was a big night of racing at the Brownstown Bullring on Sept. 19 for the $10,000 purse to win Brownstown 100.
Drivers from all over the Midwest converged on the Brownstown Bullring for the Brownstown 100 vying for that top prize.
Tanner English of Benton, Kentucky took the Late Model feature victory at the Fayette County track.
English was in the area earlier this summer, winning the World of Outlaws Late Models Beat the Heat 40 Sponsored by Bel-O at the Highland Speedway in mid-August.
Jason Feger of Bloomington was second with Dennis Erb, Jr. of Carpentersville taking third.
Shannon Babb of Moweaqua was in fourth place.
Locally, Adam Tischauser of Mulberry Grove was 12th and Mark Voigt of Marine was 15th, with Jordan Bauer of St. Jacob bringing home 19th place.
Bauer took the win in the B Feature to make the main field, while Voigt was fourth in that race to also make it to the A Feature.
Local drivers Todd Rehg of St. Jacob took seventh and Doug Tye of Marine was eighth in the B feature.
BMods race
Robbie Eilers of Highland took the feature victory in the B Modified division, with Cody Clark of Vandalia taking second and Mark Burcado of Byrnes Mill, Missouri taking third.
Eilers was also the winner of his heat race.
Todd Eyman of Alhambra and Chandler Smith of Highland also competed in the BMod class.
Factory Stocks
Brett Page, Sr. of Centralia, took top prize in the feature race with Trevor Isaak of Highland finishing second. Isaak was once again the season champ at the Highland Speedway this season.
Kanden Tompkins of Brownstown was third on his home track Saturday night..
Justin Durbin of Mulberry Grove was seventh.
Page and Isaak both won their respective heat races.
Dirtcar 4-cylinder
Dee Friar of Bluford won the feature with Lynn Lash of Vandalia second and James Trivitt of St. Elmo taking third place.
Upcoming Schedule
The track will resume racing on Oct. 3-4 for the B Modified Nationals presented by Huels Oil Company. Additionally, Factory Stocks and Dirtcar 4-Cylinder races will take place.
