Plans gearing up for the Heritage Winter Market in Glen Carbon
By Kathy Turner • The Glen Carbon Heritage Museum will once again be the site of a Winter Market. The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. Free to the public, the market will feature local vendors, food and drinks provided by Global Brew and free hot chocolate.
The Community Christmas Tree will be lit at 6 p.m. under the guidance of Mayor Bob Marcus. There will also be live reindeer and a sleigh for photo opportunities for the children.
