On April 21, the Collinsville Kahoks varsity baseball team traveled to East Saint Louis High School to take on the Flyers, with the Kahoks leaving with a 15-0 victory.
In the first inning, Collinsville was able to take the lead as they scored two home runs, while the Flyers still struggled to hit and find a way to first base.
Braden Henson and Logan O’Dell both played intensive roles on the mound, as Henson was the only Kahok to surrender a hit to the Flyers, a single that came in the fourth inning.
The Kahoks gave the Flyers everything they had at the dish, as they plated five runs in the second inning and six in the third. East Saint Louis pitcher Jamon Company Jr. tried his best leading his team with a few strikeouts. But when it came to the offensive side their efforts just weren’t enough to score.
