Triad Schools report plentiful benefactors for April donations

Editor • Contributions rolled in last month from a variety of sources, as outlined in the donations listing at the April 27 Triad Board of Education meeting.

At St. Jacob Elementary, the school’s parent-teacher organization donated $528.88 for third quarter rewards; $4,173.66 came from St. Jacob families for Cubs Care; the PTO donated $60 for the young authors’ breakfast; $332.25 came from the school’s families to support an activity day; $40.90 was collected for Box Tops for Education; and $105.11 came in from merchandise pickup service for an activity. Total: $5,240.80.

Henning Elementary recorded no donations for the month.

Silver Creek Elementary recorded the following; $1,570 from McDonald’s McTeacher Night; $26 for Box Tops for Education; the following donations were for the school’s Make-A-Wish Project – $1,705.05 from Triad Middle School; $200 from Vince Bechtel; $100 from Crystal Lechner; $74 from Emily DeLony-Peña; $25 from Katy Huebner; $30 from Katie O’Hara; $100 from Lori Daiber; $25 from Cindy Scarsdale; $100 from Debbie Doefier; $100 from Dan Andrews; $40 from Julie Ragusky; $50 from Mattison Lienemann; $5 from Michelle Lucas; $10 from Meadrith Kruse; $850 from Renaissance Fastbridge Staff; $10,000 from the Make-A-Wish Foundation; $10,000 from A to Z Dentistry; $5,000 from Triad Little Knights; $5,000 from McFarlane Aviation; $5,000 from Renaissance Charitable Foundation; $1,000 from RP Coatings; $1,000 from J.F. Electric; $1,000 from the Baebler Family; $1,000 from Karvinen Counseling; $1,000 from Contegra Cares; $1,000 from Holland Construction; and $1,000 from Triad Foundation. Total: $47,010.05.

At Marine Elementary, $92.08 came in from USAGAIN clothing donation company; $10.20 for Box Tops for Education; and $530.00 from the school’s PTO for an activity. Total: $632.28.

At Triad Middle School, $32.30 came in from Box Tops for Education and $25.59 from Merchandise Pickup. Total: $57.89.

At Triad High School, Kathleen and Myron Wiemers donated $50 to the school’s softball program; $100 came from Kelly’s Butcher Shop for THS’ Bass Fishing group; $150 was donated by RP Coatings to Model UN; $350 was donated to school’s prom fund from Pre-Loved in Edwardsville; $275 from a memorial donation to honor Richard Conley to the THS Principal’s office; $25 from an anonymous donor to Triad Strong; and $700 from Allison’s Comfort Shoes to the high school’s Success Center. Total: $1,650.
