Dr. Carl ‘Tracy’ Painter brings advanced orthopedic care to Breese, Greenville, Highland

He provides comprehensive musculoskeletal care, including treatment of sports injuries, fractures and arthritis. Services include hip, knee and shoulder replacement, as well as care for joint instability and common nerve conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, using surgical and nonsurgical approaches.
Dr. Painter focuses on helping patients restore function and return to daily activities. He listens carefully, explains conditions and treatment options clearly and works with patients to develop care plans that align with their goals. His approach emphasizes practical care, clear communication and patient involvement.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in secondary education from Calvary Bible College, Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency and internship at Southern Illinois University, Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Painter is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
