All of 12th, 13th streets in Highland to be milled, resurfaced starting June 29

By Tribune Staff •
Highland will commence the third year of its multi-year street resurfacing program beginning the week of June 29. This initiative builds on the success of previous projects. It is designed to modernize the roadway surface, extend the life of existing pavement and enhance traffic safety.

This year’s project will affect all of 12th and 13th Streets, where construction crews will mill and replace the asphalt surface. Work is expected to continue through the end of July, subject to weather conditions and field progress.

During active construction, traffic control measures will be in place. Motorists can expect periodic lane closures, restricted access to certain intersections and posted detour routes. Streets will reopen at the end of the workday. We urge drivers to adhere to all signage, follow marked detours, and exercise caution when traveling near work zones.
