Metro East students graduate from Missouri State University

By Tribune Staff • Missouri State University awarded 2,677 degrees to students in spring 2026.

The commencement ceremonies took place May 8, 2026, at Great Southern Bank Arena. The following local students earned degrees:

Leah Kaburick of Glen Carbon graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Communication Studies, Magna cum laude

Adisyn Postol of Glen Carbon graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Hospitality Leadership, Cum laude

Sarah Schaibly of Maryville graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Marketing, Cum laude

Gavin Walls of Glen Carbon graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Marketing, Magna cum laude

Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
