Betty Jane Moeller

Betty Jane (née Wendt) Moeller, 82, of Collinsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 1, 2026.
A proud daughter of dairy farmers Melvin and Mildred Wendt, from Ridgeville Corners, OH, she had a great love for the outdoors. She never missed a chance to wade in a cool stream or work in the yard. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill, whom she married on May 21, 1966. They celebrated 59 anniversaries together.
They were blessed with two daughters, Christy (Tom) Grimm and Kimberly (Nick) Kallieris, who loved her with all their hearts. Betty served as her husband’s copilot on many epic cross-country camping adventures with her family. She especially enjoyed time spent doting on her precious grandchildren, Ryan (Emily) and Alyssa Grimm, and Isabella and Olivia Kallieris. She faithfully attended every event of theirs and was a fierce supporter of their interests. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Virginia Wiemken of Defiance, OH and Larry (Dianne) Wendt of Napoleon, OH.
Betty had a knack for graphic design and worked as co-owner of two successful printing shops with her husband over the years. She loved books and was a librarian for the Maryville Public Library for a time. She had a beautiful singing voice along with an appreciation for music and women’s sports.
Betty particularly enjoyed lunch out with her much-loved girlfriends. She was known for making the best homemade pumpkin pie and rolls for Thanksgiving and had a very treasured gift of being one of the world’s best listeners.
