CSX Transportation to close Highland crossings during week of March 16 for rail replacement

Highland officials were advised that CSX Transportation is working on replacing the rails through Highland this week (March 16-20, 2026). Please be aware that crossings may be closed. The work is expected to progress about 1-2 miles each day. Drivers can always use Veterans’ Honor Parkway (goes over railroad) or Sycamore St. (goes under railroad) to avoid any closures.
