Troy City Hall Chamber gets second refresh step — new carpeting

Editor • If you’ve been to Troy City Hall lately and stepped into the city hall chamber where most meetings are hosted, you might have noticed a big change. As shown above, the chamber received new carpeting on June 2 and 3. This work followed the room’s first refreshment phase, when new wood panels were added to the walls to echo the wooden dais and the room received a fresh coat of paint in January and February while the mayor and councilmen convened at Triad High School. In the image below, the old carpet is shown before it was removed.
